From the links at the foot of the page you may download files of PDF Export Presets in InDesign CS and Acrobat Distiller. To use the file in InDesign CS select: Archive > PDF Export Presets > Define > Read in. In Acrobat Distiller, copy the file to Adobe Acrobat/Distiller/Settings prior to starting Acrobat Distiller. If you prefer not doing any print high-resolved PDF files, use the "export" function in order to collect all materials in InDesign. In this way all images, documents and typefaces are collected, which makes it easier for you to send it all to us. InDesign: Archive>Preflight >Pack ImagesImages preferably as Photoshop or Illustrator files. All images should be saved as CMYK/GREYSCALE at a minimum of 200 dpi at 100% size. Image formats accepted: TIFF, EPS and JPEG. You could also convert the images in our ICC-profiles, which you may download from our links at the foot of the page. ICC profiles are a file format which can be used to describe the color characteristics of a particular device such as scanner, screen, trial print and printing presses. ICC profiles are e.g. used in Photoshop to separate RGB- or LAB images into CMYK, adapted to our pressing process. This is how you add your ICC profiles into Photoshop: Close Photoshop. Download the ICC files from our page and copy them to the following file: MAC OS 10: Library > Application Support > Adobe > Color > Profiles > Recommended MAC OS 9: System Folder > Application Support >Adobe > Color > Profiles > Recommended PC Windows: Program > Adobe > Color > Profiles > Recommended In order to convert into Verkstadskontakt's ICC profile in Photoshop go to: Image >Position> Convert into Profile. Select proper profile in the list. Check in Photoshop, under Photoshop (Edit for OS 9 and Win) > Color position > Working color capacity > CMYK that e.g. U.S. SWOP Coated or any other foreign standard isn't positioned. These are using other printing colors than those of the European standard. Euroscale or Verkstadskontakt's own profile should be in position. Check the total color quantity of the images, e.g. from the info palette of Photoshop. The total color quantity for printing on non-coated paper should not exceed 240%. At the foot of the page, please find a third-party program that you could download to enable transmitting and packing a file. ProofsDon't forget to inform the prepress/salesman if or when your proof from us has been approved by you. If you print a PDF-proof from Adobe Reader/Acrobat, keep in mind to unmark the box "Shrink oversized pages to paper size" in order to get the correct scale of the document when printing it out and avoid it from shrinking or being enlarged.
